Labwork

What To Expect:
Blood is drawn on-site. Body fluids (urine, vaginal and stool) are collected on-site.

Rapid Strep tests are NOT performed at the office, however, comprehensive bacterial throat cultures are taken at the office.

All lab specimens are sent to the major national laboratories for analysis.

Preprocedure:
Patients must fast (nothing except water) for at least 8 hours before sugar and cholesterol testing.

Postprocedure:
Lab reports are available in 2 to 14 days, depending on the tests ordered.


EKG

What To Expect:
EKG's are performed on-site for heart evaluation.


X-ray

What To Expect:
X-ray's are performed on-site to evaluate the head, neck, chest, abdomen, spine, shoulders, hands/wrists, hips, knees, and ankles/feet.


PFT

Procedure Description:
Pulmonary Function Test

What To Expect:
PFT's are performed on-site for evaluation of breathing disorders, such as asthma.
